19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been won on hard courts
A comeback Daniil Medvedev won his initial title for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
Medvedev, a former number one, has had a difficult year, winning just one match at the Grand Slams and suffering a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his service game in specific - caused him dropping out of the top ten and finally parting ways with long-time coach Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the recent weeks - culminating in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 win over opponent Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden trophy since the Italian tournament and first on a hard court after March of 2023.
Success also signifies Medvedev has won 21 titles at 21 distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a competition with my children together, so to secure a trophy is really nice," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I got when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the past champion, had been defeated in his previous six finals, featuring in the German tournament previously this season.
His retrieving play style and recurring reactions on court had caused commentators to doubt if his ability to play at the elite level was finished.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the last few weeks, striving to approach the net and compete positively, supported by an enhanced service.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the opening set against the tricky opponent, winning four of the concluding five games to go ahead.
Both players swapped service breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, bidding for his initial professional championship, seized the initiative to force a final set.
He defended four initial chances in a close third set before the champion won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Suitably, he secured the win with a shot at the net, with the Frenchman failing to manage a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
